This species also photographed on 7 August 2000, on 22, 23 and 30 September 2000, and on 16 September 2001.  Handfield has commented that the appearance of this species in his Region 1 of Quebec (about 6 miles distant across the Ottawa River) prior to 26 August has been very sporadic, and that documented observations in June and July are very rare.  Although three of my nine documented observations are earlier than 26 August, this species appears to occur most frequently in the Dunrobin area during September by my observations both documented and undocumented.
