This species also photographed on 19 August 2000, on 10 and 22 May 2001, and on 7 June 2001.  It should be noted that Handfield cites 3.VI-9.VI-17.VII as the period of occurrence for this species in his Region 1 of Quebec, about 6 miles distant from Dunrobin across the Ottawa River.  My May and August records for this species may raise the question of whether this species has longer flight period or a second generation in the Ottawa area.
