My first tentative (and hopeful) identification for this specimen was as Eulithis molliculata (7203), on the basis of Handfield's illustrations of these species.  Fortunately, these photographs coincided not only with one of my visits to the Canadian National Collection of Lepidoptera but also to a visit by Dr. Douglas C. Ferguson, who pointed out that the underside of the wings of E. molliculata and E. testata are quite different in appearance, and kindly confirmed that these photographs are of E. testata.  My thanks to Dr. Ferguson, and to Dr. J.
