This species also photographed on 28 July 2000, 1 August 2001, and 21 July 2002.  After originally identifying this as Hypoprepia miniata, I subsequently changed that identification to Hyproprepia fucosa, on the basis of information about red- and black-thorax forms of the latter species.  However, on the basis of a recent expert review of specimens of Hypoprepia in the Canadian National Collection and comparison with specimens in the CNC, I have reverted to the original identification of Hypoprepia miniata.  Thanks to Dr. J.
