I found this moth very difficult to identify in light of reported variations within the species Zale galbanata and Z. minerea, the latter of which also seemed possible to me, but on balance decided that it more closely resembled the available photographs of Z. galbanata.  If you think my identification is incorrect, as it may be, your alternative suggestions and rationale will be appreciated.
