This species also photographed on 4 August 2000, 5 August 2000, 12-13 August 2000, 2 May 2001 and 8 May 2001.  This species is considered by experts to be difficult to distinguish from C. erechtea without detailed physical examination; however, Handfield's data on frequency of occurrence for these two species in the Ottawa area strongly suggest that this is most likely to be C. crassiuscula.
