The images at top center and top right are of the same individual, which was captured and re-photographed the following morning in daylight.  The two images at the bottom are similarly of one specimen.  This species also photographed on 16 May 2001, on 10 August 2001 and on 9 June 2002.  I found this species very difficult to photograph well because of the sheen of its wings.  In reality the dark female has the appearance of very fine silk velvet, a quality difficult to capture in a picture.  Thanks to Dr. J.
